Research Focus

  • To understand the neural mechanisms underlying impaired movement control.
  • To understand the impact of impaired movement control on everyday function including bimanual coordination, over-ground walking and driving.
  • To develop rehabilitation interventions for improving function in individuals with stroke and transient ischemic attack.


Our work is currently supported by American Heart Association and National Institute of Health.


  • We are currently recruiting graduate students at both Masters and Ph.D. level.
